　ダニ舌下錠に関する大規模プラセボ対照二重盲検試験が成人と5～15歳までの区分で2種類ずつ，計4つの試験が日本で行われた^1–4)．その結果，実薬群で有意に症状抑制を認め，きわめてエビデンスレベルの高い論文であると世界に認められている．スギに関しても同様に，実薬群で有意に症状の抑制を認めている．スギとダニの2種類の舌下免疫療法の併用も可能であり，どちらか開始後1カ月後に別のものを開始すれば，まったく問題なく併用できることが証明されている．
